Art of Ikebana

$130 $144

Spend an afternoon slowing down with ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arrangement.

Ikebana translates to "making flowers alive," and our pots are a lovely vessel for taking your time and bringing a floral or greenery display to life. For Ikebana, kenzan (also known as a "flower frog") are essential for securely holding stems in place. With the help of kenzan, you’re no longer limited to tall, cylindrical vases and can play with shape in shallow bowls. Each set includes an East Fork pot, kenzan, and a pair of hand forged steel Japanese gardening shears that fit well in either your left or right hand.

  • Kenzan Dimensions: Small: 2” diameter, Large: 2.5” diameter
  • Kenzan and Gardening Shears made in Japan
  • Kenzan Care: Hand wash.
  • Also, be careful when handling: the spikes are sharp!
  • Shear care: After each use, wipe the blades so they are clean and dry.
  • Small set includes an Ice Cream Bowl. Large set includes a Soup Bowl.
