Cast Iron Salt & Pepper Set

When I bought this set, I was looking for something to complement my pots. What I had before was too ornate and delicate looking. These work and look perfect. I was surprised at how heavy they are. In fact, every time I pick them up, I am impressed by their weight. They are beautifully created, and, while not large, they are mighty. I took a photo next to an EF standard-sized mug for scale.

If a sort of metro cabin vibe is your thing, you've found your salt and pepper shakers. For both form and function, I give them five stars. They have some heft, perhaps more so than East Fork alludes to. They could be weaponized in an emergency. Meanwhile, beyond what winds up being their primary occupation as nice works of sculpture for the table, they serve their periodic purpose well. Salt and pepper come out smoothly. Twist off wooden caps require a hint of elbow grease to get on and off, so you can be sure they're staying on. Highly recommend to the right sensibility.
