Design

Hand-bound by Sunhouse Craft on a century-old kick winder with locally grown broomcorn—part of their effort to regenerate regional farming—this handy broom uses steel wire and soft, split-end bristles that expertly picks up dust. The ash wood handle is untreated and finished with a leather hang tie. Plus, it comes with a clever Dutch-inspired hanger made from urban-reclaimed Kentucky wood to keep your broom in place. Simply push up to release the ball and pull down to tighten it—no knobs, screws or hardware required.

Why we love it:

  • Handcrafted using a century-old kick winder
  • Split-end bristles catch dust, not just move it.
  • The gravity-powered Dutch hanger keeps your broom right where you need it.

  • Broom Mount: 8.5” x 4.5” x 2”
  • Materials: broomcorn, hemp cord, wood
