Through the Lens of Nicki Sebastian
Nicki Sebastian’s photography feels like a warm hug—soft, natural, and full of life’s little in-between moments. Her images have this effortless intimacy, capturing the kind of beauty that’s not staged or polished but simply felt. Her work has a way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary, and there’s a sincerity in her photos that pulls you in, like you’re right there in the moment, experiencing it with her. She captures not just what something looks like, but what it feels like, reminding us that life’s most beautiful moments are often the ones we don’t even realize are happening.

Our spring collection was inspired by the fleeting beauty of transformation. From the first yuzu blossoms on the tree to the rich, sun-dried prunes at peak harvest, these colors are a bold reminder to savor life’s cycles: the bloom, the fruition, the fade. We knew that Nicki would be able to capture the spirit of those fleeting moments—a flash of dappled light, a breeze through the backyard, the way Yuzu and Prune’s speckles shine in direct sun. We sent Nicki some pots from our spring collection, and this is what she captured—a dreamy scene on film under the lemon tree in her backyard.

“The Yuzu and Prune collections are truly the embodiment of springtime, and as soon as I opened each piece and laid eyes on those juicy hues, I knew they had to be photographed in our backyard underneath our blossoming lemon tree.”

“In true East Fork fashion, this dinnerware brought so much joy to my afternoon of prepping and styling and photographing, but it also continues to provide a pick-me-up every time we set the table and enjoy a family meal.” - Nicki Sebastian
